Writer's Notebook

I am a 22 year old graduate student at the University of Georgia. My degree is in Psychology and Human Development, I am now studying to become an Early Childhood educator in Gwinnett county. I was born and raised in Macon, Ga, but currently live in Snellville, Ga. My hope is to teach either kindergarten or first-grade levels when I become a teacher. I have been babysitting since I was 14 years old, so my passion has always been working with young children.

 

My father has published 3 (going on 4) books, as well as written articles for our local newspaper. I had a love for writing when I was a little girl wanting to be like my Dad, but somewhere along the way in school that enjoyment was lost. I hope to enjoy writing again while working with children in my classrooms, so that I may light that spark in them the way my Dad once did for me.
